According to the information obtained, Gailloux applied to a healthcare facility in Antalya for breast lift surgery with implants and a tummy tuck (abdominoplasty). Before the operation, routine medical examinations were reportedly conducted, including blood count tests, blood biochemistry, hepatitis markers, coagulation tests, a chest X-ray, and an electrocardiogram (ECG).
On March 5, 2026, Gailloux arrived at the hospital around 11:30 a.m. After signing the required consent forms for the procedures, she was taken to the operating room at 12:00 p.m. The surgery lasted approximately five hours and was completed around 5:00 p.m., after which the patient was transferred to the ward for postoperative monitoring.
Following the operation, her general condition was reported to be stable. She began oral intake and her vital signs were monitored regularly. During the medical checks conducted the next morning, no immediate complications were reportedly detected.
However, on March 6 at around 1:00 p.m., relatives informed medical staff that Gailloux’s condition had suddenly worsened. Medical teams immediately intervened after she was assessed to have gone into cardiopulmonary arrest. Doctors performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) for approximately 45 minutes, but she did not respond to the intervention and was pronounced dead at 1:55 p.m.
Following the incident, emergency services and police were notified. Gailloux’s body was transferred to the Forensic Medicine Institute to determine the exact cause of death.
Authorities have launched an investigation into the incident, and the definitive cause of death is expected to be clarified after forensic examinations are completed.
