The University of Health Sciences Türkiye has established the Sultan Abdulhamid II Health Sciences Awards to honour high-quality research, innovative practice and outstanding student achievement in the health sciences.

The programme draws on the university’s scholarly, educational and clinical heritage, rooted in the Mekteb-i Tıbbiye-i Şahane, the Imperial School of Medicine. Its historic Haydarpaşa building was commissioned by Sultan Abdulhamid II.

Through the awards, the university aims to carry this academic tradition forward while recognising contributions to contemporary health sciences.
